I may still be able to party like a rock star, but it would appear that I can not recover like one. Our intention was to take the kids to the 9:30 service at the church where we were married and then brunch at the hotel that hosted our wedding reception but all that was quickly eschewed in favor of much, much less ambitious plans. Little coffee at Sorry, little art project at the museum of something or other, little Swiss Chalet for lunch. Ahhh, laziness. My old friend.
Our afternoon plans however, were set in stone! COUSIN-TIME!! Being this close to Adam, Rebecca, Auntie Alison and Uncle Ian and not seeing them has been torture, TORTURE. So today, we headed north, to Newmarket for swimming and snacking and just general hanging out! Needless to say, it was a fantastic afternoon and evening. Highlights include, Jack learning the 'can opener', Natalie jumping from the very high rock, Jacqui finding goggles that fit, Charlotte getting her first tattoo (temporary), Rebecca coming home with us! Thank you for your very warm hospitality Thornes and Hamiltons!!! Great day had by all! Cousin-time is the best ... but always too short. Cousin-time moving to it's new location tomorrow, downtown Toronto. Stay tuned!
